hi every one im new here and was wandering if anyone has a G22. i have one and its very fun and prety accurate, well i changed from federal to remington ammo and now the gun always jams. it seems there is a gap between the berral and the magazine, when the bolt goes forward, instead of chambering the round the bullet tip catches on the top of the gap. i think i never had jamming probs before because the federal ammo had soft tips and they probally just rubbed off, but the new remington ammo has a stronger tip i belive.

sorry about the grammar and spelling.;)

Let me first welcome you to Gunatics by saying.... uh... welcome...

I had wondered about the new G22's I was looking into them with the P22's for a new plinker Tell me, why did you switch ammo? once something starts working its good to try new types but dont switch. With that said Have you tryed the CCI mini Mags? I have a semi auto .22 that will ONLY run those because of stove pipeing.

As for the spelling

We dont care about no stinkin spelling! many of us are just "high tech ********!" Me included.

Walther 22s are ammo picky. I find Federal to be the best all purpose round for 22s. About any gun will eat them.

Well most semi auto 22s get dirty and jam up quickly. The 22lr is just a dirty round. I find the best way to keep them going is by using dry lubes in them.
