Here's the story. Friend of mine buys an XD 45 compact. He pays retail for it. Then decides he would rather have some money to buy some motorcycle accessories. He told me he'd sell it to me for $350. I know it has had less than 200 rnds put through it. And in know it has a couple of scratches on the slide the he says he has no idea how they got there. They are only as deep as the finish. He tried to cover them up with a black marker. He will also throw in a couple of holsters (one good one crappy) and a laser sight of unknown quality. Does anybody know what a used XD45 is going for these days?
Friend wants to dump an XD. Should I buy?

If you can live with a Compact .45, sounds like a deal.I put all of 75 rounds through my XD45 4" barrel before i traded it towards my LAR15...the shop gave me 300 for it.
Mine had zero scratches, looked and was almost brand new.
(at the end of the day it was almost the same size as my kimber, and i couldn't get a good group out of it - my problem, not the gun)
