They arent....if anything is realted to FN its Bereta since Bereta owns about 1/3 of the stock in FN Herstal.

I hear good things about them. they have replaceable fram rails which is nice, and its nice to see a traditional Hammer gun come out in the age of safe action copies.

Still.....I like my Steyrs and Walthers, but this looks alot nice than the Forty Nine which really looked like a Sigam as you can clearly see.

Not really....this is the uglier and less popular father of the FNP. It was DAO, with a 9lb trigger, and striker fired. It died really fast, probably since it sounded alot like a SIGMA in the way it worked, looked, and felt. The only difference was it was more expensive.

Agreed. the exposed hammer is one of the things I was looking for. Hope to find 1 to rent today and checkout ;)

LOL if you or Adler copy and paste stuf from Wikipedia I'd trust it more then going there directly ;P Like in this case I had no clue about the Barretta tie in.

Yeah I had no idea about Beretta having that much stock in FN until I read it in a book. They have their fingers in many pies it seems.
