I have a CBC 812 in 12ga which shoots flat primers fine, but won't hit the convex primers hard enough to set the round off. The receiver is riveted together so I couldn't get access to the trigger spring. Is it worth having the spring replaced or to just keep shooting flat primers with it? The point of this gun is to be a truck/survival type gun, so it would be more practical of it shot all ammo. I'm just not sure if having a gunsmith take apart the receiver would sacrifice the integrity of the receiver.

Thanks.
