For me I like the independant ones the best, but I would go with Galco for a commercial maker.

Galco and Blackhawk are mine.

I mainly use a Galco SOB for USP compact, hides very well with thin jackets on.

Galco for my Glock 17 for duty use... I've used blackhawk as well, but liked Galco better.

I have other blackhawk products, but most are vests, slings, etc.

I had a problem with that, with my 2nd gen glock but on my 3rd gen I haven't had a problem with it so I guess it just really depends on the finish

But the first, second, and third gen Glock all have the same Tennifer finish. Odd.

it could be how the interior of the kydex is treated - smooth vs textureed or sharp edges

Im getting my carry gun hard chromed or ceramic coated if it wears so its not a big deal.

I picked up the Desantis Speed Scabbord for my 92FS at the gun show Saturday. I've been wearing it for 10 hours a day since just to get used to it. It conceals very well and is tight to my body without being a nuisance. The gun fits snug and has an adjustable tension screw.
It conceals well even with only a t shirt on. I got mine in black.

Off duty- Mitch Rosen Arg, Kramer custom double Glock 21/20 rig, Blade-Tek vertcal scabbard, and standard Glock polymer holster.

I like my Wilson Combat Tigershark, although it is not on my short list of favorite carry holsters due to its tendency to not ride tight to the wearer's body. The Desantis Speed Scabbard has been great for concealment and is pretty comfortable, the Blackhawk Serpa is a good range holster, and the Desantis Cocked and Locked Inner Piece is a good holster with jeans.

I have been using Galco stuff for years. I actually wore out the one for my full size Springfield 1911. I called Galco and sent it back and they reconditioned it for me good as new. I have one for my Kimber ultra carry also and I am very happy with it as well.
