Okay, I'm pretty new to this whole scene, Im looking to start carrying, I'm going to apply for my CCW tomorrow, but I dont own a gun yet. I'd like to take some classes but im not sure where to start, I was also looking at either the glock 26 or 27 as a carry. Can anyone give me some information about...well...anything?

best advise anyone can give you - is first

touch and feel every gun in the place, then go somewhere else and do the same

next make note of the ones the "felt good" in your hands and you were comfortable with

next go to the local range and rent those sub set of guns - if you cannot rent them - try and find some locals that will let you use theirs at the range, offer to pay for their range time and ammo

once you have tallied the votes - you now know which one you should purchase

^ That and start with the NRA Basic Pistol Course. It's a good foundation that will increase your confidence a lot.

If you can find more advanced classes revolving around concealed carry in particular, I'd reccommend those too.

Then shoot a lot, it's fun.
