I'm just carrying this information exactly as posted at the Crowbarn as I figure someone here might be interested in the opportunity.
I am going to quote exactly what the OP has stated...

I am attempting to fund an extra day at the track by selling off a really cool Century Arms L1A1 (FN FAL copy) .308 battle rifle. I'm including a case, 20 mags in working shape, 20 rounds of premium ammo and some odds and ends. Its been painted to match the FAL that I carried in Iraq for awhile. Its brown and tan. It shoots very good, I sold a match grade M14 because this rifle shot better and was much more pleasant to shoot and carry. $375 takes it all, paypal please. I'm hoping for a local sell so that we can avoid all the FFL bs but if someone really wants it and is not local to southern MI, then add $50 for the shipping fee to an FFL of your choice. Pics available.

Some have Hesse/Vulcan made recievers......so beware. The best CAI FALS say "Made in Canada" and aare built on Argentinian FM recievers or have IMBEL stamped on them. The rest you can usually pass on. The later CAI reciever is ok but they were built on really well used parts kits.

As stated in my OP I do not know the seller nor his 'friend' who had originally posted this item at the Crowbarn.
I only carried it over here because I figured folk might be interested and not too many are gun owners at the 'Barn.

I just went back to the 'Barn to check the thread and the 'Friend', "me", states that it was sold.
His posting was yesterday at 9:46 AM.

FWIW if and when in the future I post stuff up from a person I know I'll state I know them and how be it know of them from the internets and have a degree of relations with them (e.g. Ducman) or I may know them IRL and have interacted with them face to face (e.g. Jamz). And if said person I might know are IMHO trustworthy then I'll say so as well although it's not often I'll put my own name & rep behind a person. In this case I neither know 'me' nor the actual seller and it was up to who ever read this if interested to seek out the dude at the source as cited.

Aren't you a member there? I thought you were.

It's moot though now as he indicates it's been sold. :\

aw... I have been looking for a FAL for some time now.


I guess its for the better, I cant shoot any of the .308 I have because my stocks are low and its hard to find and EXPENSIVE.
