I keep seeing this on ar15.com, people that accept paypal are saying that they will accept paypal but for $15 more they will do discreet paypal. What am I missing? I dont get it...
well no they want to charge me MORE than paypal service charges are. Paypal fees arent 3.9% ...if I remember correctly... its 2.9% + $.30.packnrat said:not sure about paypal making money off each purche,
but cc do put in a fee to the store selling items of any kind. so just maybe the seller is doing what any retail store does...pass the fee on to the buyer.
if you have a problem paying a fee then do not use paypal send the seller a cert check.
and if you must use paypall for ANY gun, part, ammo. never ever say what it is for, just say good/service, or you run the risk of loosing all your money to paypal.
this service co is anti gun.
Agreed. Why screw around trying to fool paypal when you can just bypass them entirely.Blindeye_03 said:my beef isnt with paypal, its with the fees people want you to pay that are MORE than what paypal charges. Some people want 3.5%, some want 3.9%, etc... And the BUYERS want you to pay a little more, like 5-15 bucks to do a descreet paypal.
Its stupid... Ill just send a damn money order.
I think that should solve any problems.PayPal User Agreement said:4.7 No Surcharges. You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method. You may charge a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services, as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge and is not higher than the handling fee you charge for non-PayPal transactions.
