ive never been able to get Visa or Master Card to step into a situation like that so that part is sketchy at a minimum

second if you were provided tracking for FedEx especially if it shipped by "Net Day Air" as you state you could tell it had been delivered , and to where , so holding the vendor as the bad guy is wrong , thats a FedEx "lost package claim" , again , no CC will inject themselves into that situation , i know this because i have tried several times , Visa and MC protection only extends to "Unauthorized charges" , you authorized the charge from the vendor for good or bad , so Visa and MC will not touch it

if its a debit card your bank will also not get involved for the same reasons , so that part of the story is getting even more sketchy , allot of vendors use Norton delivery guarantee , or will make you check a box declining insurance or to opt for insurance at checkout , you need one or the other to complete the process , this is to keep them out of a lost package situation

they should have responded , IF they offered a refund they didnt have to as long as they can prove they shipped it to the correct address until all the hoops with FedEx has been exhausted , they could have waited until FedEx completed their search , you handled it poorly , i had a 1957 SKS get "lost" by FedEx a few years back , it dragged out for a bit over a month and the vendor was about to refund i told them lets wait , i will contact FedEx and state i was contacting the ATF , 2 days later my rifle was getting tracking updates again

ive never heard of the company , so i did my search before using a unfamiliar site "is gunzonedeals.com legit?" , they came back with a 85% favorable rating which is pretty friging good , so these guys are more than legit , i think if you had handled it better they would have as well , still not buying your CC part of the story

im 60 years old , ive watched the internet evolve from concept into what it is today , ive been making online purchases since they started , i remember buying firearms on ebay , i had over 200 weapons in my collection before the great thinning of the heard as i call it , so i am extremely well versed on the practice of online gun sales on both sides

i also know for a fact that CC companies do not get involved when you make a "authorized" purchase , nor does your bank , they simply refuse to "cancel" a purchase you made so yes that part of your story does not hold water ,and is sketchy casting doubt on everything else you say, you also state you only allowed 3 days to expire before flipping out on a reputable seller , hardly a fair chance to get things sorted out , i wouldnt call you back right away either if i was them , you prematurely pulled the pin on a deal and expect to walk away whole
