Got a really nice deal. The gun, with Hogue grips, Galco holster, and 2 speedloaders with pouches for $260

.357 magnum with 6" barrel. Shoots more accurate than i am currently, and after about 100 rounds it starts to hurt the palm. I want to buy some .38 special ammo for the range to get better with it.

must be an early one since it doesnt have the full barrel shroud. Looks more like a Police Service Six.

i have no idea. It looks plenty broken in, but all the important stuff works fine. All the rifling is crisp, and there's little to no play in the cylinders. Trigger operates nicely for a DA.

I let the range master shoot it and he put all 6 in the X. so it's still accurate

Rugers are just as accurate and smooth as the S&W wheelguns, but they are built tougher and seem to take abuse better.
