For those out there that like the old school pistolas here is some pics of my 1917 production Frommer Stop 1912 pistol in 7.65 Frommer(just a really hot 32acp). Standard issue of Hungarian part of Austro-Hungarian army in ww1 and could be found in many ww2 holsters as well. This was pitted to hell and all bare of finish when I got it. I think I did a really good reblue(traditional salt blue) on it. It works on the long recoil system with a rotating bolt head. Its neato for sure
The DE runs on a gas operated rotating bolt like an AK. This is simply recoil operated. Actually this design came out in 1912 and was produed up till the mid 20's.
