Another option is a local gun show, although you probably wouldn't get top dollar. Local laws vary on firearm sales by a citizen to another citizen, but at the shows in Ohio, I see a quite a few people (not dealers) selling weapons. All that they usually ask for is proof of residency (at least that's all I was ever asked for).
Best way to sell a firearm
I'm curious how most of you guys sell your personal firearms. I have a couple great condition modern guns I'd like to offload. I know I can consign them or straight up sell them at a local gun shop, but I'd like to get a decent amount for them. Gunbroker.com and shipping firearms seems to be a little cumbersome and sketchy. Any other ideas? Thanks.
