I recently bought the full size version of the APX A1 and noticed it had some cracks after a short day at the range. Is this just cosmetic or is it something I should worry about?

I’ve only ever carried it on the case, and it’s never been dropped. I’ve only shot a total of 100 rounds.

I would contact Beretta. The back plate is cracked.

I used to have an APX version 1, but it has been a while. I can't go look at mine to compare it... However, from your picture, it looks like your striker spring is off center.

If that is the case, that should not happen. Maybe the striker is installed wrong, or maybe the striker channel is not machined correctly

The gun needs to go back to Beretta.
