Thought I'd give you fellow Bay Area gun owners a heads up. Over on Calguns.net a member posted about a most unsatisfactory experience at Target Masters in Milpitas. It appears that a gun he left for the 10 day waiting period was tampered with while in their 'care' including having it's trigger/chamber lock cut off. Now, I wasn't there, and I obviously only know one side of the story. However, I would reccomend that anyone who uses Target Masters be very careful.

I dont know the whole story either but every gun that comes in for a customer I disassemble, clean, oil, and check for function with a snap cap. Especially if its a noobie gun owner.
I agree that is a good idea for a new gun. But this instance was a PPT from one friend to another. Not only do they have no real right to fiddle with the gun (it's only in their possesion because of CA law; it doesn't belong to them) but they especially don't have the right to cut the customer's trigger lock, ruining it. That is, again, assuming that this is exactly how things went down. It's tough when you only get one side of the story.
