So today at the range I shot 40 pmg brand rounds, 40 wolf rounds, and 20 remington in the green/white box. The remington had 2 rounds that looked weird to me - the first one looks like it had a dent in the case and the second has a weird looking cap on its end (its not round, its just weird - ill get a pic of it tonight as I saved both bullets).

LMAO! the primer is in sideways!

Only seen that once in the thousands of rounds ive fired and it was not that bad. Those are not very safe to fire, they could break your fireing pin retaining pin or just pop out the primer into the gun and jam it up.

Looks like Remington needs to work on there quality control...

hahaha, yep, that same box had every other round dented up noticably bad... so I started examining the bullets and saw that one and had no idea what was going on.

Is it dangerous to keep around on my dresser as a souviner?

If you want to keep it, then soak it in penetrating oil to ruin the propellant and primers ability to ever go boom. Something from liquid wrench, Kroil, or gunk should work. Just dont use WD40 since WD40 sucks for everything but water displacing....hence the WD part of the name.
