I want to start doing some advertising for my website. I don't sell anything or provide a service yet. It's just a forum like this one but for Forced Induction.

I want want to get more traffic over to the site and don't want to spend a ton of money doing it, the site is just a hobby for me.

Get members, make contacts, slowly build a foundation...

Also, adsense from google is cool. Too bad they won't advertise for this site because it "promotes guns"!!!

The red arrow points to my site sticker. There are about 5 clear shots of the front of the car so you can see the sticker.

I just would like to be more proactive with the site, since the site isn't brand or car specific I think people are having a hard time finding it.

Do you have some web banners made up yet Mach? I'm down here in the heart of So Cal's custom car area. My folks own a powder coating company that does work for some pretty high profile stuff for surrounding shops. Maybe because we work with so many peeps, they have no problem in Web Banner exchanging. Brings alot fo traffic to the site but downside is that's not really the type of biz the powder coating shop wants ;P

I have a few banners made up...that would kick butt.
post them public somewhere, i'll see if i can get anyone to exchange. Do you have things like user stats (i.e. how many users you have, etc). The 1 thing anyone want's to see is that you have some decent traffic. The end result being the peeps I know will exchange banners but only if it benefits theri site somehow.
