Definitely it's a museum collection (i.e. NRA Firearm museum...which itself is huge!) if not that of the ATF or even maybe the military weapons museum & repository in IIRC Aberdeen, MD.

Broomhandle mausers worked pretty damned good in trench clearing in ww1.
