Only for the Rem 700 action. It's not a cheap stock, 700$+ for the base stock 150$+ for cheekpiece and 100$ for bipod. Not to mention extra mags they run 50$-80$. AI makes their own mags so you have to buy them and they are only for .338 lapua, .300 win and .308;7mm-08,260 and ,243 use 308 case so you can also use the .308 mags with them. You're talking 1000$+ for the stock, and mags.
If you want it build it, it is fun. I don't know if you've ever built a rifle like this before so my suggestion to you is to research stock bedding. The action needs bedded in the AI stock to get the performance you want.
It's not a hard thing to do and the materials can be ordered from most suppliers but it does take some reading. Here's a link to easy to follow instructions on how to do it, what you need and where you can get everything, usually you can get a bedding kit that has everything you need.

Remy no longer makes the ADL so walmart might be the only place that has them, the stores here have them in 30;06, 270, 308, 243. If you can get 1 there try a pawn shop or smaller shop used rack, you're going to restock it anyway so a used gun will work just fine.

I can't find a .308 anywhere. A local pawn/gunshop had a 7mm Mag (tempting) and Bi-Mart had a 30-06 I believe it was, but it was a stainless (I want a blued or the XCR, maybe even the new black Tactical XCR).
Anyone know if the new trigger on the '07s is swappable to older models?
What makes me mad is I can find 710s up the wazoo in any caliber I want, but no real 700s. I might just end up getting one off Gun Broker or something.

Stock is on the way. Found a store that actually had a Long Action Stage 1 OD Green in stock! And I paid $750 WITH shipping!
I'm excited, I can't wait. Been having fun cycling snap-caps in the action :twisted: Gotta love that *shink* noise a good bolt-action makes...

If you put a Badger Ordnance BDM trigger gaurd on the McM stock; McM will do this if you ask; you can use AICS mag's, like the 10rd .308 mag's.
But since you have .300wm that don't help capacity wise. You can still use the AICS long action 5rd mags and Badger is working on a 10rd L/A mag I believe.
Yes, TacPro lists 10rounders but I don't know if they will work with a Rem 700 action. They list them under AW not rem 700, the AI built rifles like the AE and AW's use AI's own actions not Rem 700's. Under AICS Rem 700 they only list 5 rounders.
