Ithaca Gun company is back up and running under new ownership and at a new plant in Sandusky Ohio. New Ithaca 37s, the best pump made are coming off the line again.
But the real question is if they're the same quality as Ithaca was known for. If they are, then I'll be buying when they come available where I live. The whole new plant part makes me kind of leary on the whole thing.
I asked some people and they are all in spec with the old Ithacas and are being made slightly tighter since the new company invested in some new milling machines and such.
The guy seems to be one of the making "made in the USA" mean something again kind of guys so I am guessing that they willl be worth the extra money over a rem 870 or mossy 500.
