I am still not sure why it pisses me of when someones first post is a for sale ad.

Well, you could be a dick about it, or you could just figure that I read more then I type, which, in this instance, would have probably been a good idea for you to think about.

I also spend much more of my time doing other things then surfing this forum. NASIOC and real life tend to take priority over posting here. Sorry if that disappoints you.

Now, if someone is interested in making me an offer, please feel free to as both of the fine guns are sitting collecting dust.

You cant ship direct to a buyer. It has to go a FFL in the buyers area to be legal.

Honestly I like to see several posts before I make a judgement on someone. However we did have that total friggin retard back in the spring that only needed one post to make me laugh. He was the guy who tried to sound all cool but wasnt sure how a gun or cartridge works.

Well boys I assure you I'm not that guy. My parents are both retired military, they are also both hunters. I've grown up around guns of all sizes and shapes. I love shooting, I was on an IM shooting team in High School, averaged 97/100 everytime I shot. Blah blah blah...

And Adler, Im aware of having to ship to an FFL. But thanks for reminding me. I honestly don't expect to sell these here, I also listed them in my local paper and would much rather sell them locally. However, I figured I'd try my luck everywhere I could.

Your prices are in line - it shouldn't take too long to sell them.

Well, sorry to disappoint you gentlemen. As I've said before in defending myself, real life takes precedence over this place. One of the many reasons I didn't come back here was because it was taking so long to get any interest. I sold both the guns locally, without near the hassle of having to ship anything, and for an extremely fair price.

I find it extremely disrespectful the way new people get treated around here. It should not matter what someones first post is, as long as its coherent, respectful and truthful. I haven't done anything to illicit this treatment from anyone, and I guarantee you that if you keep treating new members this way, this forum will not grow, which would be a shame, because it is a great place for gun related discussions without having to deal with the anti-gun asshats that infest society.

and /thread.

Well the problem with freedom of speech here is just that....people here do speek their minds. Infact thats why it was started. I used to run one of the largest Myspace gun groups but it got deleted 2 times, and me 3 times for expressing my politcal views. So no cesorship here.

And unlike real life we only see of a person what we see on here. If someone posts on the for sale site only once as their first post, and doesnt come back it looks like someone using us as a tool of convienance. Which is ok but I guess what I am saying is that we try to and promote becoming a community here and when it appears(may or may not be real) that someone is using us to promote or just sell something, some people take it as an insult since quite a few of use with very very busy schedules pump alot of time in here at Gunatics. Me....Im married with a teaching job and I am a full time grad student. I also do gun restoration and some sales, but I still find the time to spend it here. We want people to join to learn about guns, and find a community that does not stifle them.

Sorry you feel offended but our core members have dealt with advertising bots, scam artists, and shameless promoters that have left a bad taste in their mouths. So when something appearing like that comes here....it generally does not get a warm reception. You would understand if you saw what we saw in the early days getting through all the bugs and tribulations.

Hey....people get hazed in Fraternities as well to become part of the community. Even I did when I got razzed for calling magazines clips. Its ok just lighten up and take it....most of the time its just a joke to get a reaction out of ya.
