Ditto

I too am a checkered guy.
The S&W crazy dollar Doug Koenig 1911 has smooth sided grips in .45 and .38 Super and it in my hands shoots nice, real nice.
But what happens if your hands are or the grips get the least bit moist?

Oops there goes my grasp.

Good point about the smooth grips and moisture/sweaty palms. To break it down, I'm looking for a grip panel to use on a Kimber for concealed carry. I have the Rosewood checkered grips that came on the pistol, but they tend to make my side where the pistol is carried look like hamburger meat. Any suggestions on grip panels that are a little less abrasive?
