yeah, i saw that yesterday. im not impressed. rc helos are renowned for their agility, not their accuracy. any aerial rotor based platform that light is simply unsuited for the task. you would be FAR better off using multiple ducted fans than rotors, especially if its that light. you could maybe get a shot off every 5 seconds and maintain any kind of accuracy. if you added gyroscopes and telemetry you could make the platform more stable normally, but again, being that light makes you subject to external forces on a grand scale. a small breeze would throw that thing off.

i like the idea, and its funny as hell to watch and think about playing around with. but any notions of practicality are.... humorous.

um... is that two USAS12's on a R/C helicopter the size of a man? or has the sudden flow of blood to my pelvis reduced my ability to think clearly? regarding what i was saying above, that probably is heavy enough to be somewhat practical. as practical as a flying akimbo semi-auto shotguns can be, i suppose.

next step is to custom fab enclosures for the USAS12 internals and then get an airwolf body for the helo

    /stars humming the airwolf theme
