Red dot sight can be very helpful when tracking game. They reduce distortion, aid with depth perception, and allow for a larger field of view.All ar 15 red dot scopes, holographic sights and reflex sights are not for precision shooting, but rather very close or very fast shooting that ideal for hunting turkey or deer, and some people even use red dots for target games like trap, skeet, and sporting clays.

Red Green or Blue Illuminated Reticle


Your scope is designed with crosshairs that illuminated in red , green or blue for ease of use . To use the illumination feature
1. Remove the battery cover from the illumination dial by turning counter clockwise
2. Install one CR2032/1620 3Vlithium battery into the compartment with the "+" side up
3. Turn the red/green / blue illumination dial to illuminate the red , green , or blue crosshairs. The brightness will change as you trun the dial . The markings on the dial show the color and intensity of the light . Lining the "R" , "G" or "B" up with the index dot


Tactical Mil-Dot Range Estimating
1 mil in a scope reticle is the distance from the center of one dot to the center of the next dot
2.Set your scope at he 4X power, View the target through the scope .Place the center of the dot against one edge of the target and measure to the opposite edge of the target.
3.Once the target has been measured in mils, use the formula below to calculate the target distance.
4.The Mil-Dot Range Estimate Reference Chart provides most used estimates for reference.
