Here are some crappy pics of my new -74 posing with two cans of Russian 7n6. I cannot stand the stock grip, although its plum and matches the furniture I have to put my arsenal saw grip on there...but I must say that firebrick mag I picked up matches the furniture nicely. The m70 is going to get a proper m70 grip.

The rifle is brand new. I have 2 new black mags, 1 used black mag, 2 sanitized plums repainted black w/ silver '78' ink stamps, and 1 firebrick red mag. The ammo looks to be in good shape.

Yep I am actually liking it more now that I did with my m70... maybe it will get fixed and I will like it again too.

I have a Russian Navy sling coming (blue) and a Bulgarian drop case along with a cleaning kit to keep in the stock.

Whats funny is how small the bullet case and bullet are. Its so weird, looks like a .223 wssm or something crazy like that. I didnt open the can till tonight to load my mags up.

Don't let the size fool you as being inferior to the 5.56. I've shot several critters with the 7N6 load. I was amazed with the damage.

    Bump for new pics.

No I mean its crazy how big the case is in relation to the bullet, and it reminds me of the 17hmr just on steroids.

It's a trip how long the bullet is compared to the 5.56.

Nice pics! Did you do any accuracy tests?
