How did I miss this post?!?!

Krebs has had a version of these for a few years now. There's also has a lowered tab so you can operate the selector with your index finger as well:

Thats what I did to my wasr for the short period of time that I had it. I am not sure if I am going to do it to the yugo or not..

Honestly I think it'd be easier to find a welder than to just pay $65 for a safety selector from them. That is outrageous!

The yugo wouldnt work with the lower tab anyways as the underfolded stock would get in the way + it already has a tab up top.

    Very funny Scirion

Those levers are totally functional. I've got 'em on my both my Saiga and my Norinco. Gives you a dirt simple bolt holdopen, and a way to work the selector lever without taking your right hand off the pistol grip (assuming you're right handed). Saiga has a homemade lever that I dremeled and welded a tab on myself. Norinco's got an actual Krebs unit. The Krebs lever looks prettier but they both work the same.

It's a a functional part that doesn't screw with reliability or the standard manual of arms (if you don't want to use the notch or tab, don't). 100% compatible with the Kalashnikov ethos.

I never meant to sound like they werent functional, if I could afford a $65 selector I would buy one - better yet, I would rather make my own for that price.

For the yugo you are really shit out of luck anyways since something on the bottom would interfere with the stock im sure.
