I load 230 gr. Bonded Golden Sabers in my EDC 1911, Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel in my alternate carry 1911, and Federal HST in .40 S&W chamberings. I avoid the Glasser Safety Slugs and Extreme Shock ammo at all costs. They're uber expensive and not that effective.

The Italians have a saying. "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." And although they've never won a war or mass-produced a decent car, in this area they are correct.

I have yet to hear a complaint about Double Tap Ammo ... I'm sure someone somewhere doesn't like it.

If I recall Double Tap loads Speer Gold Dot bullets.

While we're on the subject of snake oil ammo.... Le Mas/RBCD ammo is dangerous, deceptive shit.

Last year I saw some 77 grain 10mm ammo from RCBD tear up a Glock 20. Fast burning powder + big case + shitty quality control = inevitable result.

    See thread here: http://www.glockpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1873

DRT ammo is another garbage ammo as well IIRC.

For me it is Speer Gold Dots, Corbons, or if need be the Federal stuff. I only like the golden sabers for 45acp.
I dont use it, i just was saying that what they said, i use wwb at the range and speer gold dot and corbon to carry. Have a safe night.

It is like that also in other things in life. Good and reliable things don't need constant marketing, beacuse they will establish their brand if first place
